Chlorophytum comosum

The spider plant is among the most adaptable and easy to grow of houseplants. Tolerating a wide range of conditions, they do best with bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light. The tips of the leaves may turn brown, but this is natural and can simply be clipped off. It will send out shoots of white flowers that dangle down from the mother plant, which will then turn into little plants themselves. You can leave the pups on the plant for a longer, trailing look or snip them off to easily propagate to share or expand your collection.
