Opuntia sp. variegata
This cactus has one of the most iconic plant silhouettes thanks to its unique and architectural growth habit. This variegated variety in particular has a striking pattern characterized by lime-green and dark green coloring. The flat, pad-shaped leaves hold a ton of water, allowing these cacti to withstand long periods of neglect. Keep your Opuntia happy with as much direct sunlight as possible, and water when the soil dries out completely or when the pads begin to pucker.
