PINK QUILL
ABOUT ME
Professionally, I’m known as tillandsia cyanea, but my friends call me Pink Quill. I’m a bromeliad and closely related to air plants, therefore I absorb nutrients and H2O through my leaves. I’m known for my hot pink centerpiece, which acts as a reservoir for water and nutrients. Eventually, my “pink quill” will turn green and fall off, but don’t fear! This is totally normal and doesn’t mean I’m in distress or dead. Another quill will appear over time as long as you maintain ideal conditions for me to thrive.
THE LIGHT I LIKE
I like bright, indirect light.
HOW MUCH I DRINK
As a houseplant, I love humidity, so mist me heavily 3-4 times per week. Water directly into the pot twice per month.
